Green Day's take on the Simpson's theme
For those yet to see the Simpsons, get off your asses. Not into it, then watch this clip with Bay Area rockers Green Day. The clip speaks for itself...Cameron's Titanic, the environmental plight and dead rock stars. God bless the Simpsons.

I went to high school with Cass McCombs
I knew the guy was talented, but if I wasn't such a prick in high school I would have recognized his potential much sooner. Damn! Congrats to Cass McCombs on his upcoming release of "Dropping the Writ" via Domino (10/9). Take a listen to: "That's That"
Rogue Wave join Brushfire Records head out on road with Feist
Oakland band Rogue Wave are set to release a new album "Asleep at Heaven's Gate" (9/18) via Brushfire Records. Having left Sub Pop and welcomed a new bass player (Patrick Abernethy, ex-Beulah), RW has been through a lot recently. But the best news is that drummer Pat Spurgeon got a new kidney. Though the album cover is ugly as hell, we're pretty excited about the new tunes. Now they are heading out on tour with Canadian siren Feist. Congrats boys!
